Documentation site: VitePress retired (T670)
The VitePress implementation (docs/.vitepress, npm run docs:legacy:*) was deleted on
2026-09-25 after the new site passed its full QA gate: the static site:qa pass (0 HIGH, 0 dead
links across 59 pages) plus a browser pass over 7 routes x 360/768/1280 x both theme modes
(layout audit, reduced motion, frame timing). docs:dev / docs:build / docs:preview drive the
Next.js + Fumadocs site above. docs/**/*.md stays: it is the content the site reads through
scripts/sync-site-docs.mjs, and a new page is still a Markdown file under docs/ plus its row in
that script's META table. The dead-link check CI used to get from the VitePress build now comes
from site/scripts/qa.mjs's dead-link scan in the site job.
